美國高考SAT是美國大學理事會(College Board）負責開展的，因此College Board推薦的書單深受家長和學員的重視。本期我們整理了大學理事會推薦的101本必讀書目，讀了這些書不僅對孩子準備SAT大有裨益，對AP英文課程也很有好處。
另外，我們還在書目中附上了Lexile閱讀難度分級。Lexile是全美最通用的閱讀能力和圖書分級系統(tǒng)，有利于幫助家長和學生有效選擇圖書，循序漸進地提高閱讀能力。在全球教育界受到廣泛認可的學習法i+1理論強調(diào)的就是我們應該選擇比自己水平（i）高那么一點兒（1）的材料內(nèi)容，這樣既能有所提高，又不至于讓學習內(nèi)容跨度過大、晦澀難懂。以Lexile分級為例，如果孩子目前只能勉強讀懂680L級別的《夏洛特的網(wǎng)》（Charlotte’sWeb），那非要去啃990L級別的《雙城記》（ATale of Two Cities）就很能事倍功半，還會挫傷孩子學習的積極性。
