事實(shí)上這個(gè)榜單挺偷懶的。作者選取了十個(gè)已有的圖書榜，將這些圖書輸入數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)，并用一套評(píng)估體系對(duì)其進(jìn)行評(píng)分。如果有兩本書評(píng)分相同的話，則看Google趨勢(shì)，誰(shuí)的搜索多，誰(shuí)排前。作者特別強(qiáng)調(diào)的是，這個(gè)評(píng)估體系對(duì)于不同年代/不同流派/這本書來(lái)自于哪個(gè)榜單都是十分公平的。郁悶的是我還是不知道這個(gè)評(píng)估體系是怎么建立的……

    毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)，和任何榜單一樣，這個(gè)排行榜也有其局限性，比如說(shuō)最明顯的：只選取了用英文撰寫和已經(jīng)翻譯成英文的作品。但是你也能在這一百本書中發(fā)現(xiàn)唯一一本中國(guó)人的著作：《毛澤東語(yǔ)錄》，排名第88。當(dāng)然，如果從該書的發(fā)行量上講，排名絕對(duì)可以再靠前些。

    正如作者所言，即便這個(gè)排行榜有所不足，但是只要它能夠贏得關(guān)注 (focus the mind)，促進(jìn)討論(stimulate discussion)，幫助我們進(jìn)行判斷(help us make judgments)，傳達(dá)有價(jià)值的信息(convey valuable information)，還有最重要的，鼓勵(lì)我們進(jìn)行閱讀(encourage us to read books)，那么目的不是就全部達(dá)到了?
