Is the alarming attendance rate a reflection of the stuffy classes or the guilty of the college students? For one thing, the vitality of lessons is quite important. Why do so many university teachers present a stream of novel schemes? To some extent, it reveals one critical reason for the lessening rate of attendance is that if the docents cannot give some neoteric tricks, they won’t partake it. But can it be the valid method? Probably not. Supposing the class itself is not virtually abundant and attractive, what will happen? Students just feel reluctant and get bored. They may even be regretful for their attendance. So those tricks only can be the temporary relief. But it doesn’t work in the long run. Therefore, teachers should step back and think about it. They need to accelerate attention to the course material and address more lively speeches to impel students.

For another, we students are supposed to bear some of the blame. We are wallowing in our cleverish Smartphone and loath to put it down. We think there is always something worth exploring waiting for us to probe into. Actually, the instructive experience from lessons is far more than just what calls to mind. We should take the attendance more seriously. And we need to be dynamic and show proactivity in class. Thus, students and teachers can mesh with each other nicely. We have to be aware that we are playing an active role in class, we can vivify the lesson as long as we want.
