摩登家庭是一部家庭情景喜劇(family sitcom), 單鏡頭(single camera), 偽紀(jì)錄片(mockumentary), 群戲(ensemble cast)

它2009年上映, 是ABC電視臺的看家喜劇, 已經(jīng)播出9季
今年秋天播出第10季也是最終季, 但可能會有衍生劇(spinoff)
從第一季到第五季蟬聯(lián)5屆艾美獎最佳喜劇, 累計獲得75次艾美獎提名, 贏得22個艾美獎.

摩登家庭講述的是Jay Pritchett一大家子人在洛杉磯郊區(qū)的生活
