今天分享一首Green Day的《Boulevard of Broken Dreams》。

今天來首綠日經(jīng)典的歌曲，來自他們2004年的專輯《American Idiot 》。后來也作為單曲發(fā)行了。而這首歌講述的主角是專輯中另一首歌曲標(biāo)題中的人物，也是這張專輯的核心人物——“Jesus Of Suburbia（郊區(qū)的耶穌）”。截至2009年9月1日，這首歌的銷量超過了500萬張，是綠日樂隊(duì)在公告牌排行榜上最成功的歌曲，在100首熱門歌曲中排名第二。這張專輯還獲得了2006年格萊美獎(jiǎng)的“年度最佳唱片”。

這是一首關(guān)于孤獨(dú)者和夢想破滅的歌曲。故事中的主角Jesus來到了一個(gè)陌生的城市，這是他來的第一晚。他在城市的街道上漫無目的地游蕩，無事可做，無處可去。離開家鄉(xiāng)來到這個(gè)陌生城市后，他發(fā)現(xiàn)他被陌生人包圍，在一個(gè)陌生的環(huán)境中完全孤獨(dú)。他意識到自己無人可依，這也讓他情緒崩潰，幾近瘋狂。

而這首歌的標(biāo)題是根據(jù)Gottfried Helnwein的著名作品起的。綠日主唱Billie Joe Armstrong在采訪中說到他實(shí)際上看到了Helnwein在1948年拍攝的James Dean。“有一張詹姆斯·迪恩(James Dean)走在紐約的老照片，照片下面寫著'Boulevard of Broken Dreams（破碎夢想大道）’。這是他的一張很棒的照片，所以這也是我給他取了這個(gè)名字的原因?！?/p>

他們在創(chuàng)作這首歌的時(shí)候想要擺脫朋克樂隊(duì)的標(biāo)簽，打算參照披頭士《生命中的一天》(A Day in the Life)，使用各種各種交響聲音結(jié)尾。但制作人羅布·卡瓦洛堅(jiān)決反對。并對他們說：“你們是一個(gè)搖滾樂隊(duì)，所以我們還是用吉他來演奏吧。所以我們只能讓Billie來彈奏他所能彈奏的最難、最快的和弦。我們只是告訴他要盡他所能。然后在混音的時(shí)候我們不斷的喊調(diào)大音量，最后用這種方式完成的?！?/p>
