只要學(xué)了英語的，人人都會說：I don’t know. 聽說這還是學(xué)生的回答利器，任何時候被提問，都可以用這句“輕松”回答！

想要表達不知道，除了“I don’t know”還可以有其他的表達方法，最常用的一個是：

I have no idea.

我不知道。

A: What time does the movie start?

B: I have no idea.

A：電影什么時候開演？

B：我不知道。

這個句子和“I don’t know”一樣，都可以作為句型使用：

I don’t know where to go.

我不知道要去哪兒。

I don’t know what you’re talking about.

我不知道你在說什么。

I have no idea what to do.

我不知道要做什么。

I have no idea when the boss will be back.

我不知道老板什么時候回來。

“I have no idea.”的語氣更強的變化句式：

I don’t have the slightest idea (…)

我一點都不知道（……）。

【也可說成：I haven’t the slightest idea.】

I don't have the slightest idea who that man is.

我一點都不知道那人是誰。

A: Could somebody please explain how this happened?

B: I don’t have the slightest idea.

A：有人能解釋一下這一切是怎么發(fā)生的嗎？

B：我一點都不知道。

上面的句型把中心詞換成“clue”，也可表達同樣的意思：

I don’t have a clue(...)

我不知道。

(I haven’t a clue.)

“clue”原來的意思是“線索”，“not have a clue”就是指“對某事一無所知；完全不知道”。

A: Would you by any chance know where Garden Street is?

B: I don’t have a clue. Sorry.

A：你是否剛好知道花園街在哪兒？

B：我不知道。抱歉。

I don’t have a clue how to take care of children.

我完全不知道怎樣照顧孩子。
