不過，這依然擋不住大家對于休息的熱愛呢！Anyway, let’s talk about the vacation stuff!

我們先來看對話：

A: I'm so glad the weekend's finally here.   

B: Me too. Imagine. It's a long weekend. We've got three days in a row.

A: So, where're you going? 

B: I don't have any plans yet. I'll just play it by ear. How about you?  

A: We're going to go hiking and camping in the mountains.

對話中包含很多有用的日常用語。近年來國人對于黃金周和小長假都很熟悉，小長假，其實(shí)就可以譯成對話中的：

a long weekend

如果想說放假連續(xù)休多少天，會用上這個短語：

in a row 

連續(xù)不斷地；一個接一個地

three days in a row 接連三天

five days in a row 接連五天

seven days in a row 接連七天

如果我們期盼的某個日子或某個事件最終發(fā)生了、終于來了，我們可以用這個句型：

… is finally here.

The Spring Festival is finally here.

春節(jié)終于到來了。

The summer vacation is finally here.

暑假終于來了。

對話中出現(xiàn)了一個成語：

play it by ear

見機(jī)行事；隨機(jī)而變；臨時發(fā)揮
