ROSEBUD Primary School students now have six brand new classrooms to enjoy after a $3 million revamp was unveiled last week.

The original school building was also refurbished and will house a music room for the benefit of the whole school.

Education Minister and Nepean state Liberal MP Martin Dixon opened the purpose-built teaching and learning spaces on Friday.

“The Napthine Government is building better schools for all Victorian students and, as a former teacher and principal, I am proud to invest in the future of Rosebud Primary School,” Mr Dixon said.

“As local member for Nepean, I know this $3 million investment will benefit the students, staff and families of Rosebud Primary School for years to come.

“The Victorian Coalition Government has delivered on all of its school commitments from the last election, including planning and funding the redevelopment of Rosebud Primary School.”

Principal Tony Short said the new learning spaces had made a massive difference to the entire school.

“It has allowed the teachers to be more flexible in how they teach, which has led to the children being more calm and relaxed,” he said.
