Sight Words 就是英文常用詞的意思，除了自然拼讀法，Sight Words是英語閱讀的重要“拐杖”。

幾乎所有英語為母語的學(xué)校里都會專門教孩子學(xué)習(xí)這些常用詞。

什么是Sight Words？

Sight Words，顧名思義，就是一入視覺就立即能反應(yīng)的詞匯。

Sight Words 是兒童閱讀初期的常用詞，約有220個(gè)。

它是由美國學(xué)者 Dolch 針對英語兒童讀物做了系統(tǒng)分析和統(tǒng)計(jì)后整理出來的最常使用的詞。

這些詞在英語教科書，圖書，報(bào)章，雜志中的出現(xiàn)率為60-85%。

Sight Words有什么用？

有了這220個(gè)詞，閱讀的文章中，就意味著60%的單詞都認(rèn)識。

然后再配合相應(yīng)的閱讀難度的書進(jìn)行閱讀練習(xí)，就會極大地提高閱讀速度，以及閱讀流利性，進(jìn)而會有助于對文章內(nèi)容的理解。

220個(gè)Sight Words是哪些？

這部分詞匯在北美的學(xué)校教育中是小學(xué)三年級必須要完成的內(nèi)容，而這些卻是中國的英語教學(xué)中缺失的部分。

按照北美學(xué)校的英語教育分級，詞匯由易到難列明如下：

【第一段】

The best thing in the world

Once upon a time, there were four brothers who lived in a far away land.

曾經(jīng)，有四兄弟住在一個(gè)遙遠(yuǎn)的國土上。

Their father was an old king.

他們的父親大人是一個(gè)老國王。

One day he said, 'I will not live long now. Today you must start out into the world. In a year, bring back the best thing you have found. The one who can pick the best thing shall be the new king.'

The last brother started off.

When he had gone about six miles, he met a man. 'What do you carry in those big bags?' he asked.

At night, he went to sleep under a round yellow haystack.
