Descriptive writing is helpful for introducing characters or a setting. Many poems are also descriptive. 描寫(xiě)通常是記敘文等長(zhǎng)篇?jiǎng)?chuàng)作文體中的一種寫(xiě)作手法，對(duì)于呈現(xiàn)人物形象或是景物的描繪都很有幫助。許多詩(shī)作也會(huì)采用描寫(xiě)的手法。 寫(xiě)作目的 The purpose of descriptive writing is to present one overall image of aperson, place, thing or an idea. 結(jié)構(gòu)格式 ● One common way to organize a description is by considering the space. For example, you might describe a room by imagining what you would see if you were standing in the doorway, looking from the left-hand side to the right. Another approach is to begin with an obvious or important feature and then describe what surrounds it. ●Descriptive details can also be arranged in order of importance. 風(fēng)格手法 ● The words and images in a description should appeal to as many of your readers’ senses as possible: sight, hearing, touch,taste and smell. ● Similes, metaphors and figures of speech can help bring images to mind for your readers. ● Choose details that help to create the overall image youwant the reader to experience.
