The weekend is coming. 有些線話寶寶們可能會選擇去電影院放松一下。看電影究竟是see a movie還是watch a movie呢？

其實，看電影用watch和see均可，區(qū)別是watch更加隨意、輕松一些。See a movie常表示去電影院看電影，而watch a movie通常指在家看電影。

此外，watch 更偏重表達(dá)看的過程，see 更注重“看到了”這個結(jié)果。

那電影是movie還是film呢？簡單說，movie更加口語化，而film常用于較正式的名詞概念。一些固定的表達(dá)中，兩個詞亦存在區(qū)別。去看電影可以用 go to the movies（美） 或 go to the cinema（英），但不能用go to the film。

此外，motion picture也可表達(dá)電影，這種用法更加正式。著名的奧斯卡獎的“最佳影片”獎，官方英文即為The Best Picture.

電影院也有不同的表達(dá)方式。Cinema是英式英語，theater是北美用語，一些多影廳的電影院可用cineplex表達(dá)。
