I started writing this blog in July 2010...and forgot about it

This time I decided to go to Wuhan by train. My wife is around these days so I thought it will give us a good view of Interior China. We started early in the morning to catch the train at 0648 Hrs. I have mentioned the time to impress upon the accuracy of time schedule. Needless to say I was more than impressed when the train started and was impressed further when it reached the destination on time accurate to the second. Mist sat over the city like whispers on the lips and as the cab ran through the shrouded city, it unfolded dreamily like a story to a drowsy kid. （印度人詩興大發(fā)）

第一段說他跟老婆要去武漢出差順便玩玩，以及對(duì)高鐵的贊美，買的票是早上6：48的高鐵票，他說中國(guó)人做事認(rèn)真，高鐵出發(fā)和到達(dá)的時(shí)間能精確到秒。。。。

干凈，狀況良好，沒有裂紋的，綿延不斷的毫無瑕疵的柏油公路。

have never seen such a marvellous railway station until now. What I saw was indeed better than any airport I have ever seen. Eventhough seeing spotlessly clean public places is becoming a routine thing for me here at China but cleanliness here left me speechless.

我從未就沒有見過如此不可思議的火車站。我看到的這一切確實(shí)比我以前看到的任何機(jī)場(chǎng)都要好，即使我在中國(guó)看到這樣的一塵不染的公共場(chǎng)所幾乎是例行公事，但是這兒的干凈程度還是把我震驚地說不出話來。

The next thing that left me wonder struck was the bullet train. All long distance trains in China run at awesome speed of 250 Kms. and hour and the railway ministery has decided to upgrade them to 350 Kms/hr. Between some cities they are already running at this formidable speed.

下一件讓我震驚的是子彈頭列車(高鐵)，中國(guó)所有的長(zhǎng)距離列車都能開到250公里每小時(shí)，而且官方還決定要升級(jí)到350公里每小時(shí)，現(xiàn)在在某些城市之間已經(jīng)能達(dá)到這令人敬畏的速度了。

The train started on dot and quickly picked up speed. My eyes glued to the electronic display began to bulge out and throat went dry as I feared that it may not reach an escape velocity and shoot out of the globe. Thankfully the digits stopped rising when the number reached 250 Km/Hr.

火車從零開始加速，我盯著那個(gè)顯示速度的電子牌，眼珠子都要爆出來了，喉嚨也變干了，我擔(dān)心這火車要是達(dá)到了逃逸速度(衛(wèi)星脫離地球的速度)飛出了地球怎么辦?謝天謝地那個(gè)數(shù)字最后停在了250km/hr。

Passing Railway Stations. No hawkers, vendors, Chhole Bathure, No spitting, shitting or urinating and no teary eyed relatives in strength come to see the guests off who are going back.. at last.

路過站臺(tái)的時(shí)候，沒有小商小販，沒有隨地吐痰，沒有隨地大小便，沒有那些淚眼汪汪來送別的親屬。

After six hours of smooth, comfortable journey and passing hundreds of tunnels and treacherous terrain we landed at Wuhan

在六個(gè)小時(shí)順利舒適的旅行，經(jīng)過了上百個(gè)隧洞以及各種崎嶇不平的地形之后，我們來到了武漢。

It's not that Shanghai's Railway Station was given a shine or was spruced up for this dignitary's delight even Wuhan's platform was sparkling as can be seen here in the picture. Do we have any airports even which can compare with the size, grandeur, splendor and the upkeep of the stations of even unheard of cities of China. What we hear our ministers say? ' We will make Delhi the best city in the world' Do they know what best means?

這不是上?；疖囌灸欠N所謂的被裝點(diǎn)出來的一塵不染閃閃發(fā)光的用來迎接達(dá)官貴人的門面工程(印度人一般認(rèn)為上海是中國(guó)的花瓶。。)，這僅僅是武漢的火車站，正如你在照片里看到的一樣，一如既往的干凈整潔。我們國(guó)家有任何一個(gè)機(jī)場(chǎng)能在規(guī)模，氣勢(shì)，豪華尊榮以及日常維護(hù)與這些個(gè)聽都沒聽過的中國(guó)城市的火車站相提并論的嗎?我們親愛的部長(zhǎng)們說什么來著：“我們要將德里打造成為世界上最好的城市”知道什么叫做最好嗎?
