首先，先腦補(bǔ)一下什么是“方”吧。百度了半天，覺得以下這個(gè)說法還靠譜：

“方”就是“慌”的諧音，有些地方“fang”“huang”不分，這成為網(wǎng)絡(luò)流行語也很有可能。所以，“我有些方了”其實(shí)就是“我有些慌了”的意思。當(dāng)然，以下這些俗語里的square跟“慌”也關(guān)系不大，但是在生活中還是挺好用。不信你看看吧。

1.  a square peg in a round hole

方形的釘子插在圓形的孔里，指格格不入

His appearance here is like a square peg in a round hole.

他出現(xiàn)在這里，顯得格格不入。

（“格格不入”還有一個(gè)說法叫“against the grain', 但這個(gè)短語還有”違背本意“的意思，例如：It goes against the grain to have to pay him for such poor work .他工作如此差勁還得給他錢，真讓人不甘心。）

2. go back to square one

由于受挫或陷入僵局而從頭開始(從頭再來啊）

The attempt failed and we had to go back to square one.

3. be there, or be square

不見不散

4. call sth square/square accounts

雙方扯平、互不相欠

He deliberately insulted me but I'll square accounts with him one day.

5. sth doesn't cut any squares with sb

不受某事影響

The quarrel doesn't cut any squares with him.

他完全不受這場爭吵的影響。

6. be fair and square

公平對待每個(gè)人

I ask no odds. I just want you to be fair and square.

7. look sb square in the eye

看著某人的眼睛，表示坦誠
