On September 28, 2012, a piece of news carried a middle-school student’s letter written before his suicide. In his letter, the 15-year-old boy earnestly begged his father to give up his bad behavior and renew a cordial relationship with his mother. After reading the letter, my heart bled bitterly. Though suffering greatly from his troubled family, the boy had a deep love for his young life, his lovely classmates and his respectable teachers. But to bring back his father’s moral and a happy family, he ended his life by swallowing pesticide.

2012年9月28號(hào)，一只消息報(bào)道稱以為中學(xué)生自殺前寫了一封信。在這封信中，一名十五歲的男孩認(rèn)真的懇求他的父親改掉他的壞習(xí)慣恢復(fù)和母親的關(guān)系。讀完這封信后，我的心像在滴血一般疼。盡管這個(gè)問題家庭給他帶來了很大的痛苦，這個(gè)男孩還是深愛著他年輕的生命，他可愛的同學(xué)和他尊敬的老師們。但是為了為了挽回他父親的道德和一個(gè)幸福的家庭，他服農(nóng)藥結(jié)束了自己的生命。

Poor kid, why did you resort to such an unwise move? Since you dearly loved your parents, you could have done otherwise. You showed the world with your pure, innocent and kind heart that you longed for a beautiful life and hated the evil. But you chose the wrong way to realize your desires and wishes.

脆弱的孩子，你為什么要選擇如此不明智的舉動(dòng)？既然你那么深愛你的父母，你就不該這么做。你的話語(yǔ)和你純潔，無(wú)辜和善良的內(nèi)心表明你想要美好的生活，你憎恨罪惡。但是你選擇了錯(cuò)誤的方式去實(shí)現(xiàn)你的希望和意愿。

The tragedy exposed a grave social problem: domestic violence and lack of family communication. Clearly, marriage break-ups do great and inevitable harm to children. As we know, each family, as a cell of society, is concerned with social stability and happiness of its people, and more importantly, the future of a nation.

這一悲劇揭露了一個(gè)嚴(yán)重的社會(huì)問題：家庭暴力以及缺乏家庭溝通。顯然，離婚不可避免的對(duì)孩子帶來巨大傷害。我們都知道，作為社會(huì)的一個(gè)小部分，每個(gè)家庭都與社會(huì)的穩(wěn)定、人們的幸福以及國(guó)家的未來息息相關(guān)。

People often say parents are the first teachers of their children. Parents’ behaviors greatly affect the growth and development of their children. A happy and harmonious family environment is essential to children’s healthy growth. Personally, this incident may serve as a warning to parents, who are expected to regulate their behaviors and set a good example to create a good environment for their children’s life and study. Let’s remember: harmony starts from home.

人們常說家長(zhǎng)是孩子的第一任老師。家長(zhǎng)的行為深深的影響著孩子的成長(zhǎng)和發(fā)展。一個(gè)幸福和諧的家庭環(huán)境對(duì)孩子的健康成長(zhǎng)是必要的。就我個(gè)人來說，這次事故應(yīng)當(dāng)成為對(duì)家長(zhǎng)們的一個(gè)警告。家長(zhǎng)們應(yīng)該規(guī)范他們的行為舉止，做好榜樣給孩子的生活和學(xué)習(xí)創(chuàng)造環(huán)境。讓我們牢記和諧社會(huì)從家庭做起。
