英文數(shù)字

英文數(shù)字和中文一樣都是十進數(shù)（decimal）：有一到十十個形式（pattern），十一到二十形式重復(fù)，二十一到三十再重復(fù)。

一到十都是單個音節(jié)：
1 one
2 two
3 three
4 four
5 five
6 six
7 seven
8 eight
9 nine
10 ten

“十幾”（teens）在數(shù)字后加個“teen”，代表＋10
例：
4 = four
14 = fourteen
6 = six
16 = sixteen（加了個“teen”，代表＋10）

13 thirteen 拼法更改 thir
14 fourteen 規(guī)則（沒有缺u）

在數(shù)字前加個“twenty-”，代表＋20（見#×10）注意，一定要在twenty 和單數(shù)之間寫個連字號（-）。
例：
4 = four
24 = twenty-four
6 = six
26 = twenty-six
同樣的，在數(shù)字前加個“thirty”，代表＋30（見#×10）
例：
4 = four
34 = thirty-four（加了個“thirty”，代表＋30）
6 = six
36 = thirty-six（加了個“thirty”，代表＋30）
加個“forty”，代表＋40，等等

一百多的數(shù)字前面寫個“one hundred and”
“a hundred and”比較口語。
一定要寫“and”
例：
1 = one
101 = one hundred and one
31 = thirty-one
131 = one hundred and thirty-one
兩百多的數(shù)字前面寫個“two hundred and”。注意，
不需要復(fù)數(shù)形式：“two hundreds”←錯誤
例外：“There are five two hundreds in one thousand.”（在一千個一里面有五個兩百。）←在此，“五個兩百”不是一個數(shù)字，所以有復(fù)數(shù)。關(guān)系是〔two hundred〕s，非two 〔hundred〕s?！皌wo hundred”兩個字算一組，一起副數(shù)。
沒有連字號“two-hundred”←錯誤
其他：
千 ＝ thousand
萬 ＝ ten thousand（沒復(fù)數(shù)）
萬 ＝ myriad
少用，大部分只表示“許多”的意思，例：a myriad of colours（許多顏色）
百萬 = million
連貫字：millionaire =百萬富翁
百萬以上的數(shù)字英國和美國名稱不一。下面舉一個例子（美式讀法）：

英文寫數(shù)字，每三個字寫逗號：10,000,000,000
在每個寫逗號之地，拼字也寫逗號（非“and”）。
例：1,100 = one thousand, one hundred
