What kind of teacher do you think I am? What kind of teacher do you want me to be?

I’m honest, responsible, confident and strict. As a teacher, I’m honest with all my students and I’m responsible for anything I do to my students. But above all, confidence! Confidence is important for anyone to succeed. I’m confident about my job. I believe I have ability to teach you well. I’m also confident of all of you, my dear students. I believe you are all intelligent and clever. If you work hard, you’ll soon make great progress. So believe in yourselves! And being strict is very necessary. I’ll be strict in my work, I’ll be strict with all my students and I hope you’ll be strict in your studies.

這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計(jì)的目的是讓學(xué)生了解教師的個(gè)性。教師的品格會(huì)對(duì)學(xué)生產(chǎn)生很大的影響，教師應(yīng)向?qū)W生展示自己的優(yōu)秀品格，在學(xué)生中樹立威信，師生互相鼓勵(lì)，增強(qiáng)學(xué)生學(xué)好英語的信心.學(xué)生普遍認(rèn)為，假如老師誠實(shí)、自信、嚴(yán)格,是個(gè)有責(zé)任心的好老師，在老師的帶領(lǐng)下，就一定能把英語學(xué)好。

二、“教師”是什么？

What’s your understanding of a “teacher”?

A teacher should be a guide, who not only guides the students’ studying, but also guides them in the right way of learning; a teacher should be a model, who always sets a good example for the students; a teacher who is able to work out most problems should be a dictionary, a teacher should be a friend, who is ready to help his students when necessary and shares all their sorrow and happiness.

通過學(xué)習(xí)英語歌曲，學(xué)生加強(qiáng)了團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神，產(chǎn)生了濃厚的英語學(xué)習(xí)興趣，樹立了堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的自信心，從而形成了良好的人文氛圍。

新的一學(xué)期，Miss Yu 給自己提了新的目標(biāo)和要求。也希望你們給自己訂出新學(xué)期在英語學(xué)習(xí)上的目標(biāo)要求。以下是我給你們的建議；

1.繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持每天聽讀英語，養(yǎng)成良好的聽讀習(xí)慣，PEP和牛津兩套教材一個(gè)都不能少。

2.在校內(nèi)外多用已學(xué)的英語日常用語進(jìn)行交談。老師鼓勵(lì)和表揚(yáng)在校園內(nèi)常說英語的同學(xué)。

3.課堂上認(rèn)真聽講，主動(dòng)參與，學(xué)會(huì)做課堂的小主人，學(xué)會(huì)對(duì)自己的學(xué)習(xí)負(fù)責(zé)。

4.作業(yè)認(rèn)真及時(shí)地完成。不懂就問，切忌抄襲。每課的背默作業(yè)請(qǐng)及時(shí)完成。我會(huì)在每個(gè)單元結(jié)束后的集中練習(xí)時(shí)檢查你們的背默情況。老師已經(jīng)安排了每組的英語組長(zhǎng)，希望班干部和組長(zhǎng)們做好的榜樣。

5.珍惜每天十分鐘的校園英語早讀，多學(xué)點(diǎn)SALAD ENGLISH（色拉英語）中的知識(shí)。老師相信你們會(huì)喜歡這樣的英語早讀的。
