Luoyang city in central China’s Henan Province aims to build itself into “Capital ofMuseums.” 

Up to now, the city has 13 opening state-own museums and the other five state-ownmuseums are under construction.

In addition, nine private museums have been open to the visitors while more than tenprivate museums are under preparation.

Luoyang, as a city had served as the capital for 13 dynasties, including the XiaDynasty, Shang Dynasty, Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Eastern Han Dynasty, Sui Dynastyand Tang Dynasty, owns rich historical and cultural resources.
