說一個(gè)人年輕不懂事，我們常說他/她是 young and inexperienced，即“少不更事，初出茅廬”等等，

我們也說這個(gè)人“還嫩點(diǎn)兒”，就是 wet behind the ears。

Wet behind the ears 的字面意思是“像剛生下來的嬰兒一樣，耳朵后的汗毛還是濕的”，引申為一個(gè)人“年輕，幼稚，沒有經(jīng)驗(yàn)”。

例如：

Attempt to do me in? You are still wet behind the ears.

想陷害我？你還嫩點(diǎn)兒。

這個(gè)片語也可以說成是“not dry behind the ears”，

例如：

Jane's not dry behind the ears yet.

簡(jiǎn)還是太年輕了。
