[育兒心經(jīng)]好品行十一條
不久前我的一個(gè)同事與我分享了一份很有意義的材料--美國(guó)童子軍的守則（US Boy Scout Law）。我把這份材料作為我教孩子的家庭教材，讓孩子讀，講解。今年夏天，送孩子去本地中文學(xué)校，我把這份材料帶去請(qǐng)老師用來(lái)督促孩子檢視自己行為。為 避免其他家長(zhǎng)因宗教信仰不同而抱怨，我在不影響原意的基礎(chǔ)上去掉了宗教內(nèi)容，并譯成中文。老師很喜歡，覺(jué)得其他孩子也可用。在此與大家分享這份材料。 原文有十二條。第十二條為純宗教內(nèi)容，去掉后成了現(xiàn)在的十一條。改寫(xiě)后的英文標(biāo)題為“To Be A Good Person”。 好品行十一條 可信 講真話(huà)，守承諾。誠(chéng)實(shí)是我的行為準(zhǔn)則，我為他人所信任。 忠誠(chéng) 忠實(shí)于祖國(guó)、家人和朋友、以及學(xué)校和老師。 助人 關(guān)心他人，樂(lè)于幫助，不計(jì)回報(bào)。 友好 與天下人為友。理解他人，尊重不同意見(jiàn)。 禮貌 禮貌待人，不因年齡地位而異。善上若水，易與他人相處。 善良 柔于面，剛于心。己所不欲，勿施于人。 律己 守家規(guī)，識(shí)校紀(jì)，尊國(guó)法。對(duì)不合理之規(guī)定，不可抵制，而應(yīng)循序促改。 樂(lè)觀 陽(yáng)光心態(tài)，積極完成任務(wù)。充滿(mǎn)熱情，給他人帶來(lái)歡樂(lè)。 節(jié)儉 克己奉人，未雨綢繆。保護(hù)資源，善用時(shí)間和財(cái)產(chǎn)。 勇敢 克服畏懼，勇敢面對(duì)危險(xiǎn)。直陳胸臆，無(wú)畏于嘲諷威脅。 整潔 健于身，潔于靈。與身心健康者為伍，助社區(qū)環(huán)境整潔。 To Be A Good Person (Tailored from “U.S. Boy Scout Law”) TRUSTWORTHY To be a good person, I tell the truth. I keep my promises. Honesty is part of my code of conduct. People can depend on me. LOYAL To be a good person, I am true to my family, teachers, friends, school, and nation. HELPFUL To be a good person, I am concerned about other people. I do things willingly for others without pay or reward. FRIENDLY To be a good person, I am a friend to all. I seek to understand others and respect those with ideas other than my own. COURTEOUS To be a good person, I am polite to everyone regardless of age or position. I know good manners make it easier for people to get along together. KIND To be a good person, I understand there is strength in being gentle. I treat others as I want to be treated. OBEDIENT To be a good person, I follow the rules of my family, school, and group I belong to. I obey the laws of my community and country. If I think these rules and laws are unfair, I try to have them changed in an orderly manner rather than disobey them. CHEERFUL To be a good person, I look for the bright side of things. I cheerfully do tasks that come my way. I try to make others happy. THRIFTY To be a good person, I work to pay my way and to help others. I save for unforeseen needs. I protect and conserve natural resources. I carefully use time and property. BRAVE To be a good person, I can face danger even if I am afraid. I have the courage to stand for what I think is right even if others laugh at or threaten me. CLEAN To be a good person, I keep my body and mind fit and clean. I go around with those who believe in living by these and same ideals. I help keep my home community clean. |
